Sponsor a child
Although our camps are free to low-income children, the cost to Great Oaks is roughly $200/child. Some of these fees are met with limited Federal camping subsidies, but the bulk of this cost rests on the shoulders of Great Oaks to fund-raise.
Of course, our after-school Bible clubs and weekend Bible retreats receive no government funding. We rely fully on the support of others who believe that the work of Great Oaks’ Urban Youth Ministry is worthwhile. Our cost to provide a year-round ministry to youth-at-risk is approximately $480/child.
